Summary |
0000418: Massive CPU usage during normal editing |
|
Description |
Problem occurs after a few edit/debug cycles (usually less than 10).
While editing CPU usage rises very near to 100% (even on a dual core CPU, where it usually doesn't go over 50%). The high usage occurs only while digiting something, as soon as you stop digiting, the CPU quickly goes back to idle. This pattern suggests a problem with auto-completion or some other similar feature.
The problem aggravates with each edit/debug cycle, to the point that the IDE become quickly unusable. Exiting and re-launching the IDE seems the only workaround. |

Additional Information |
This problem has never happened in any of the beta of Torsion I tried before (I'm using Torsion since several months, now). It's quite unfortunate to find such a serious bug in the first version of the product I had to pay for... |
